For the communication using cable, the main constraint is that if used by the crew who worked very mobile such as FD (Floor Director) and PA (Production Assistance) because it is very troublesome. The main problem of communication using this cable is if the cord not good and or the cord is very long (usually if it is used for lighting crew communication using a followspot) will result in the audio to be noise, so to follow spot is usually used HT alone. If this long cable problem could be overcome, then the use of communications cables are highly recommended because it does not interfere with other frequency devices (primarily wireless hand mick and wireless clip on).
